I find that a plastic putty knife works well and does not scratch the surface. You may need to touch-up the edge with a file to ';sharpen it a bit more. Then use denatured alcohol to clean the residue before reapplying caulk if that is what you are doing.
You can get a product which softens the silicon from any DIY shop but you will still need a scraper and plenty of elbow grease!
