School Project! Can you build a spaceship out of silicone. Is it heat resistant?

helpSchool Project! Can you build a spaceship out of silicone. Is it heat resistant?
That depends!; If the Silicone is the Silicon analog to the Carbon composites now being used to lighten air and aerospace craft, then the answer would be why not?

Silicones now in use are liquids and flowing solids such as brake and hydraulic fluids and silly putty. (Siliputty)

Silicon is a semiconducting element sharing chemistry similar to Carbon, diamond and aromatic and aliphatic Hydrocarbons --e.g. Buckminsterfullerenes which promise huge numbers of possible applications, including very refractory materials.School Project! Silicone is the most heat resistant material known to man!

Can you send me a diagram of the spaceship to see if the silicone will work?
