I wanted to use silicone to create molds that hold food. I know that I should be using food grade silicone, but it doesn't exist where I live.
Plumber's grade, on the other hand, is readily available. After it cures, is it toxic? I'd be thankful for actual replies :)Is plumber's grade silicone toxic after curing?
they are different composition, plumbers grade silicon may have impurities you do not want to ingest and will also have a different composition to that used in moulds and may well melt at hight temperatureIs plumber's grade silicone toxic after curing?
It contains antifungal compounds, which are toxic.
Do you live in China by any chance???
If so, you will be executed when you get caught.
