Should I rinse a tank that has been newly resealed with silicone?

It is a very larg tank and It cannot be lifted/tipped up.





I went round the inside with aquarium sealant on Tuesday and filled it yesterday to check it is water tight.





Should I syphon out the water and refill or should there not be any chemicals or anything left.











The tank is for my 7 year old terrapins.


I will be leaving it for a bit for filter to mature before adding them.Should I rinse a tank that has been newly resealed with silicone?
