Do bar cookie recipes brown as well when a silicone 8';X8'; pan is used instead of a glass...?

...pan?

I thought I had a glass 8X8 pan to bake my Decadent Dollies bar cookies in, but I only have the size pan required in a disposable aluminum pan and a (floppy) silicone pan. Since the silicone pan does on brown well would the dough be browned and cooked? I'm concerned also that when I cut the cookies into bars that it would damage the bottom of the silicone pan?Do bar cookie recipes brown as well when a silicone 8';X8'; pan is used instead of a glass...?
I have found that silicone just doesn't bake the same no matter what people say, and some recipes don't come out at all in silicone. If you need it to be brown I would definitly use something else. Silicone is very tough but if you use a knife (assuming your bars cooked correctly) the scratches it could make on the silicone.Do bar cookie recipes brown as well when a silicone 8';X8'; pan is used instead of a glass...?
Stuff in glass doesn't tend to brown well. Use aluminum for best results.
