The best thing to do is clean the chain, let it dry, apply the lube, let it dry, apply it a second time and let that dry, and then use a clean rag to wipe it before riding. you dont want o do that because the spray will collect dirt and junk and make your chain all gummy and dirty





i ride bmx and you should wipe your chain clean off all grease and spray lube first.





then if its rusty i would say buy a new 1


you can get 1 for about 7 dollars or so at a local bike shop





but if its not rusty


spray some tri flo or dw 40 on an old towel and wipe the chain with the rag





making it a little bit oily and still clean at the same time





u dont really wanna soke the chain just dampen it a little bit
