What kind of silicone do you use in wet area of a shower?

100 % silicone. the others will shrink and crack. What kind of silicone do you use in wet area of a shower?
Go to the hardware store and buy a tube of bathroom silicone, it's on the shelf with all the other silicones and no-more-gaps,there are that many varieities, for roofing, brick and concrete, etc,etc by the way,,.if you haven't got one you'll need a mastic gun (holder) to use with the silicon tube If it's for around the bottom of shower and floor and the your tiles are white make sure you use white silicone, if the tiles are coloured use clear silicone. Also if you have glass screens, and not solid walls, run a bead up where the screens join or meet wall. There are directions on the tube on how to use it.If you follow the directions it will be a piece of cake.Oh by the way DON'T use the shower for at LEAST 12 hrs after, gives the silicone time to set. Then sit down with a nice glass of wine and gloat on the good job you did. ciao 4 now. What kind of silicone do you use in wet area of a shower?
