Sort of. My wife has tried them when she makes her soap (from lye and oils) but often has problems getting a smooth finish on the soap when they're popped out of the mold. It seems the soap tends to cling to the silicone.For interesting mould for soap could I use rubber/silicone ice cube trays?
You can use anything that can withstand the heat. Soap is very hot!! Be sure to apply some sort of release so that the soap is easy to come out of the mould.
