Airbrush makeup silicone or water what is better for tv and print???

I am a makeup artist for tv and print and am trying to find the best airbrush makeup for my airbrush. I can not have my clients looking too dry or too dewy... but rather in the middle. I have heard problems with both products, but am finding that the selection is pretty limited... any suggestions???
