PLEASE HELP ME! Do u know the differences between silicone, e-PTFE and Gore-Tex?
Differences between Silicone, expanded polytetrafluoroethylene and Gore-Tex are:
No mug answer please.
ThanksPLEASE HELP ME! Do u know the differences between silicone, e-PTFE and Gore-Tex?
Gore tex is: a synthetic waterproof fabric permeable to air and water vapor, used in outdoor and sports clothing.
ePTFE is: a tough translucent synthetic resin made by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene, chiefly used to make seals and bearings and to coat nonstick cooking utensils.
Silicone is: any of a class of synthetic materials that are polymers with a chemical structure based on chains of alternate silicon and oxygen atoms, with organic groups attached to the silicon atoms. Such compounds are typically resistant to chemical attack and insensitive to temperature changes and are used to make rubber, plastics, polishes, and lubricants.
PLEASE HELP ME! Do u know the differences between silicone, e-PTFE and Gore-Tex?
Forgive me, but I don't really know why you ask this question in this category (these seem more at home in a DIY section than beauty). Out of the three, only Gore-Tex is breathable, which is why you find it in high-end raincoats (so that moisture from your skin can escape to the atmosphere without letting rainwater pass through).
Silicone is the only one that you can get in liquid form. I've not seen it used for fashion as much as sealing around the edges of baths and showers.
e-PTFE... well I know that PTFE comes in tape form and can be used to pack out very small gaps, making it useful for ensuring a gas/watertight seal on screw threads. Not sure about its expanded cousin, but I'd guess it'd be light and a good insulator.
Not exactly sure how these all link together, especially in a fashion context, but I figured I could at least offset some of the useless answers. Hope it helps.

Any ideas how to get rid of silicone on glass?
Single edge razor should work. If you still have residue, try Goo-Gone to take it off. That stuff took off masking tape residue that was on my hardwood floors for more than a year.
TimAny ideas how to get rid of silicone on glass?
It should peal off with the greatest of ease Gas might melt it or the paint/glazing so let be a last resort. Its made to stay together and it usually does so find an edge and pull.Any ideas how to get rid of silicone on glass?
Dow Corning Sealant Remover will remove any silicone sealant, apply it leave for a while (a few minutes for thin layers to up to an hour for large thick deposits) and just scrape it off
Straight edge razor. Works everytime.
White spirit or a stanley knife blade.
With the edge of a razor blade.
gas and a razor blade. works wonders.
if not then paint thinner and the razar

Cost of silicone breast implants?
Can anyone tell me how much the average price for silicone breast implants is? I live in Texas and wonder if anyone can recommend a doctor in Texas or Oklahoma?Cost of silicone breast implants?
Should be around $4-5,000 but it really depends on where you go, but if you want it done right and by a really good doctor it might even be a little more than that. I don't know about Texas but where I live they usually charge like $50 just for a consultation to talk with a doctor about it, which is non-refundable.Cost of silicone breast implants?
A lot.
a couple thousand maybe
$4,000 - $6,000.
I live in Arizona so I can't help you. You might try asking your regular doctor if they can suggest any good surgeons.
the whole surgery (you're not thinking of just purchasing the implants and shoving them in by yourself, are you?) will cost you around $5,000-$7,000. btw, how big are you gonna go?

Does CRC silicone spray make your Rubik's Cube sticky?
I was going to use that to lubricate my cube but i saw a small amount of places where it says that it makes your cube sticky. So i was just wondering since i saw 2 or 3 posts like that if it really does.Does CRC silicone spray make your Rubik's Cube sticky?
CRC can make your cube sticky if you just remove a few pieces and spray it into the core
the proper way to apply it is to tak the whole cube apart and line up the pieces and spray them like that. no stickyness, only awesomenessDoes CRC silicone spray make your Rubik's Cube sticky?
well i've tried and failed a lot of lubricants and methods for lubricating.
you might also try jig-a-loo silicone spray
Not if you apply it right. First take it all apart. Then work with one center and put all 4 edges on it each time applying the spray. Then work your way up each time putting it on what you are connecting.
No
It is the best lubricant to us for your cube and don't use
WD-40!!!!!!!
NNOOOOO
It will stuff up your CUBE!!!!
i don't now about crc but bike grease and wd-40 work REALLY good.

Would a SILICONE BRA last all night?
I'm planning to buy a silicone bra from LA SENZA.. anyone with experience know whether the silicone bra stays on??
ESPECIALLY IF I'M SWEATING THROUGH THE NIGHT??
10points best answer.. thank youWould a SILICONE BRA last all night?
yes it DOES stay on!!Would a SILICONE BRA last all night?
You shouldn't wear a bra during the night. Apparently it
contributes to breast cancer. I never wear one because
it's quite uncomfortable.
Anyways, La Senza should know that some people wear
bras during the night. I'm sure they made their bras night-proof.small business loans
